100 days of the prayer tent in Donetsk

Believers of different churches that pray in the center of Donetsk for peace and unity in Ukraine, on June 12 celebrated their 100th day anniversary. The jubilee prayer, in the circumstances in which it was held, brought together a record number of participants - 80 persons, SergeyKosiak, a Protestant pastor in Donetsk, wrote his Facebook page.

"Thanks to everyone who donates. Without you we would not have done this. Together we are really strong," he wrote.

The pastor said that since yesterday they have had a new prayer tent, with new pictures and inscriptions.

"As I wrote earlier, before we were praying without a tent. But when it was established people started coming. They are very happy, this tent is sign of hope for the city. Even TV journalists came to check if we were real and not ghosts," said the author.

Sergey Kosiak also said that after the interconfessional prayer he went to the hospital to visit a man wounded by the representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People Republic.

"Our prayer marathon became a street church, and tent - a symbol for the city; we are ready to serve the people for the glory of God," said Sergey Kosiak.
