On July 7, despite the opposition of Russians, the Humanitarian Committee of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, supported the respective amendment of the Ukrainian deputies to the Resolution "A Call for Stronger OSCE Action Against Increased Discrimination of Christians in certain OSCE Participating States, as well as Adherents of Other Minority Faiths." A member of the Ukrainian delegation to the OSCE PA, Viktor Vovk, wrote about it on his Facebook page.

The text of the amendment defines that unacceptable practices include "oppression and arbitrary actions against certain denominations and their clergy in the occupied territories".
