On this occasion the pastor and the Ukrainian community of Salerno extend sincere gratitude to the local Archbishop Luigi and all those who contributed to the action, website of the UGCC in Italy reports.

УГКЦ_в_Італі.jpgAt the request of Ukrainian local pastor Father Ivan Boryna, the UGCC community  in the south Italian city of Salerno, south of Naples, with the blessing of Archbishop Luigi Moretti got the right of exclusive use of St. Andrew church (La chiesa di Sant'Andrea Apostolo).

On this occasion the pastor and the Ukrainian community of Salerno extend sincere gratitude to the local Archbishop Luigi and all those who contributed to the action, website of the UGCC in Italy reports.

 The Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew was built in 1758 in the city center (via dei Canali, 10).

After preparatory work in June Ukrainian community plans to start worship in the new church.
