In Crimea a Muslim to be persecuted for ‘extremist literature'

He said that because of the books found an administrative record was compiled.​​ It will be submitted to Dzhankoy court with charges of possession and mass distribution of literature, which is recognized in Russia as extremist.

The Muftiyat representative expressed suspicion that the search for banned literature would be carried out in other Crimean Madrassas.

Earlier the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of Crimea stated that in recent weeks the checks and searches for the banned Islamic literature listed in the “Federal list of banned extremist materials” had been performed in Islamic schools and houses of Muslims .

The list of banned literature was compiled in accordance with the decisions of various courts and has more than 200 pages, indicating more than 2 thousand printed materials of various denominations.
