Head of State Committee on Nationalities and Religions Awarded by Head of UOC-MP
KYIV – On March 5, 2010, the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) held a meeting in his residence in the Kyiv Cave Monastery with the head of the State Committee on Nationalities and Religions, Yurii Reshetnikov. The parties discussed the questions of current church-state relations in Ukraine.
According to the web site of the UOC-MP, Metropolitan Volodymyr awarded Yurii Reshetnikov with the order of Metropolitan Dymytrii of Rostov for his cooperation with the UOC-MP.
