KYIV — On January 9, 2009, the track and field arena in Berezniaky district in Kyiv, where the services of the Embassy of God Church have been conducted for a considerable time, is to receive sportsmen.  The news agency UNIAN reported this with reference to Today newspaper (Number 1k (3425) which in its turn referred to a decision of the Kyiv City Council to transfer the building to the Federation of the Track and Field sports of Kyiv.

“The negotiations with the Embassy of God have been conducted for a long time. Now the Center of Development of Track and Field Sports will be located in the arena,” reported to the newspaper the head of the Federation of the Track and Field sports of Kyiv

According to him, the Kyiv City Council allocated to the Embassy of God a plot in Osokorky area where they conduct services in a large tent. Pastor Sunday Adelaja is going to build a church complex with children’s playgrounds and a hotel. The price of land in that place is about 10 thousand USD per one hundred square meters, reports the newspaper.
