From August 27 to 29, 2010, the 9^th convention of the Church of the Seventh-day Adventists in Ukraine was held under the motto “Proclaiming God’s Grace.” It was attended by 159 delegates representing all the members of the church of the nine local conferences as well as institutions of the Ukrainian Union Conference.  

The convention ended with the appointment of church leaders for the next five years. According to the decision of the convention, Viktor Aleksieienko was appointed President of the Ukrainian Union Conference of the church and Leonid Voloshchuk its secretary.  In addition, the heads of the departments, services, and institutions of the Ukrainian Union Conference of the Church of the Seventh-day Adventists were appointed.

Volodymyr Krupskyi was the previous President of the Ukrainian Union Conference of the Church of the Seventh Day’s Adventists.
