A text of the translation prepared by Mykhailo Yakubovych was approved for publishing by the Commission of the King Fahd Center located in Medina, Saudi Arabia. In the nearest future the Ukrainian-language version of the Quran will be published.

The book will consist of nearly 700 pages and will be supplemented with audiotape with surahs both in Ukrainian and Arabic.

The Quran in Ukrainian will be placed in the collection of Holy Qurans in foreign languages in Medina. Mykhailo Yakubovych also plans to translate the Prophet Mohammad's Hadith and works of ancient Arabic travelers and philosophers into Ukrainian, UKRINFORM reports.
