According to the web site of UOC-MP, with the blessing of Metropolitan Volodymyr, the Vicar of the Kyiv Metropolitanate, Bishop Panteleimon (Povorozniuk), served a litia for the repose of the innocently killed fellow-countrymen. During the service, the names of the victims established during the time of existence of the museum were read out. In the end, the bishop made an address to those present.

The memorial is a place of remembrance of the victims where everyone can remember their innocently killed relatives, fellow-countrymen and pray for the repose of their souls. The Bolshevik regime depraved the victims not only of the right to freedom and life but of Christian burial and proper burial rituals.
