Zisels: The enforcers are being brainwashed that Maidan has been organized by the Jews, so they must beat everyone.

The Head of the Association of the Jewish Community of Ukraine, the Vice-President of the World Jewish Congress Yosyf Zisels thinks that if the state of emergency is declared, all churches that did not support the government, will suffer persecution. He expressed this opinion in his commentary for Gordonua.com.

"The churches that did not shrink from joining the Maidan protests along with their priests and parishioners, may suffer from repressions, if the government formally declares the state of emergency. In practice, such a state has in fact already been introduced. All of the churches will suffer, except the Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Moscow Patriarchy. Others, which support the opposition to a greater or lesser extent, will be under a threat of persecution or even shutdown.", – said Zisels.

According to him, if the church persecution begins in Ukraine in earnest, the president and his circle will inevitably be isolated internationally.

"If the powers-that-be decide to crack down with repressions, they will be isolated from the world, along with the corresponding reaction of the Pope and the Heads of other churches", – emphasized Zisels.

Zisels added that the regime started its intensive efforts to inflame and spread antisemitic sentiments by using various websites of its satellite parties, as well as the Internet resources of "Berkut" riot police.

"In the past two-three weeks, the websites of several political parties close to the government, for example Viktor Medvedchuk's site, Natalia Vitrenko's site, and "Berkut's" site, were filled with antisemitic materials claiming that it was the Jews who organized Maidan. It's a complete absurdity, yet those who are out in the streets, fighting against the protesters with their truncheons and shields, believe it. They are being brainwashed that Maidan is a Jewish conspiracy, that nobody must be spared, everyone must be beaten up", – explained Zisels.

The Head of the Association of the Jewish Community of Ukraine suspects Andrey Klyuev, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, to be the ideological inspiration behind the propaganda against the Jews. This antisemitic propaganda in Ukraine seems to have been copied according to the Russian templates.

"I presume that this propaganda can be coordinated by Klyuev. This government copies many policies from Russia, but former president Kuchma himself has written that Ukraine is not Russia and that the Russian methods will not work in this country.", – concluded Zisels.

What a waste of time and energy. The Russian Orthodox Church shows no charity towards anyone. Their church leaders are stubborn, ignorant unChristian hypocrits.
