UOC-KP clergymen donated blood for ATO servicemen

More than 10 Transcarpathian priests of the Kyiv Patriarchate led by Bishop Varsonofiy of Uzhgorod and Transcarpathian region donated blood for the needs of ATO servicemen.

According to the prior of Holy Assumption church of the UOC-KP Fr Serhiy Potyuka, at a meeting the clergy decided to donate blood to the hospital, for ATO servicemen in Mukachevo. However, said the priest, they do not accept or keep blood in hospitals, so the Orthodox priests of Kyiv Patriarchate decided to donate blood in Mukachevo Central Regional Hospital.

From there, if necessary, the blood is transferred to a military hospital.

The spiritual leader of the local faithful, Bishop Varsonofiy of Uzhgorod and Transcarpathian region came to donate blood. He assured the audience that he came at the call of the heart and advised others to join the charitable action on blood donation, as reported by Mukachevo.net.
