The Dognal sect again stepped up its activities in western Ukraine. This time, its representatives lead protests against mobilization and demand to stop the Anti-Terrorist Operation in eastern Ukraine under the guise of the movement of Soldiers' Mothers.

The Dognal sect again stepped up its activities in western Ukraine. This time, its representatives lead protests against mobilization and demand to stop the Anti-Terrorist Operation in eastern Ukraine under the guise of the movement of Soldiers' Mothers.

During the protests Dognal group members use Christian slogans and symbols so that they can be confused with the Greek Catholics. They accuse the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church of the war that is ongoing in eastern Ukraine.

The Lviv Archeparchy of the UGCC has shared its precautions conserning the destructive activities of this sectarian factions in the Ukrainian society.

"We received information that these people are deployed among the population of Galicia (Western Ukraine) to lead propaganda work in order to discredit the struggle of our people and against the ATO in the eastern part of Ukraine," said the statement.

The Lviv Archeparchy of the UGCC urges the faithful "not to participate in activities that demonstrate Christian symbols, but are not the spirit of our Church, as they aim to provoke another conflict."

Let us remind that the Dognal sect was opposed to European integration and the Maidan.
It's also worth mentioning that late last year they called for Russia to deploy it's army in Ukraine as peacekeepers.

As you know, the "Dognal Sect" has nothing to do with the Catholic Church, the founders of the sect have been excommunicated.
