New Pope has already been invited to visit Ukraine

On April 12, 2011, during his pastoral visit to Argentina Patriarch Sviatoslav Shevchuk had a meeting with Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Mario Cardinal Bergolio, to express his gratitude for the prayers and support of the church during the development of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic eparchy in Argentina. Patriarch Sviatoslav also invited Cardinal Bergoglio to visit Ukraine and presented him with an Eastern prayer rope and an icon.
